We’re Sorry . . .

Thank you for using the Clean Energy Tax Navigator. Based on the information provided, it appears that the project or project described likely does not include property that could be eligible for energy tax credits using the Elective Pay process.

Learn in office hours

For more information regarding why certain property or facilities may be ineligible for tax credits using Elective Pay, or to ask additional questions about the Elective Pay process, register here for our next office hours session. Office hours is a space for eligible entities to share their clean energy project plans and talk through their roadblocks or concerns. All project stages are welcome!

Clean energy savings (without tax credits)

Remember: even if a clean energy project does not include property eligible for tax credits using the Elective Pay process, the energy savings alone can still make such projects worthwhile investments. When planned well, clean energy projects have the power to build climate, economic, and racial justice in your community.  Check out the guide “Building Justice into Clean Energy Policy: A Checklist for Policy Makers, Advocates, and Organizers” for more information on how to design projects that advance justice.
